“Wolves” premiered on AppleTV+ last Friday (27) and has already become the most watched film in the history of the streaming service, which features original titles such as “Killers of the Flower Moon” , “Napoleon” and “Cherry” . According to the company, the production was also the biggest launch on the platform, increasing almost 30% of the audience.
In the plot, a “fixer”, a professional capable of solving problems, is hired to cover up a major crime, but when a second agent appears, the two “wolves loners” are forced to work together and the night ends up getting out of control.
The film stars Hollywood superstars Brad Pitt (“Fight Club” and “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”) and George Clooney (“Ocean’s Eleven” and “Love Without Stops”). In addition to the stars, names like Amy Ryan (“Only Murders in the Building”), Austin Abrams (“This Is Us”), Poorna Jagannathan (“Big Little Lies”), Richard Kind (“Argo”) and Zlatko Burić (“Triangle of Sadness”) make up the cast.
“When George, Brad and Jon brought us the idea for ‘Wolves‘, it was easy to decide — a fun and emotional film with two Oscar winners who everyone knows are iconic together. Now, the public has chosen en masse to make ‘Wolves‘ part of your weekend, making the film a worldwide success,” said Matt Dentler, head of features at Apple Original Films.
