Lockheed Martin is preparing new F-16 fighter jets in ODA

New special shelters for the protection of personnel and aircraft will be added to the facilities of the Hellenic Aviation Industry (EAV) in Schimatari, which will be constructed at the expense of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.

The investment concerns special canopies, with an area of ​​877.41 square meters, which will be used for the work performed in the Viper upgrade program.

The new facility is part of the recent major $ 97.5 million partnership agreement between ODA and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, and consequently the main contract for the Air Force’s F-16 fighter upgrade program. Viper.

The upgrade program of the 83 F-16 Block 52+ and 52 + Advanced fighter aircraft is a priority for the Hellenic Air Force, which is gaining a huge advantage in the country’s defense shield. The new contract is a result of the extroversion strategy that ODA has been consistently implementing in recent years.
