Logismos: Loss reduction in 2021 on an annual basis

Logismos recorded a decrease in net losses in the year 2021, while seeing its sales increase by 4%.

More specifically, based on the corporate announcement, “Logismos SA, an Information Systems Company based in Thessaloniki, announced its results for 2021, according to which the turnover amounted to 2,309 thousand euros. 2,215 thousand euros in 2020, an increase of 4% Profits before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization of intangible assets, including the corresponding amortization of grants amounted to 570.4 thousand euros compared to 607.7 thousand euros was in 2020, showing a decrease of 6% The result after taxes amounted to a loss of 207 thousand euros compared to a loss of 375 thousand euros in the previous year.

It should be noted that the Company in the year 2021 has been burdened with extraordinary impairments of receivables amounting to 180.6 thousand euros compared to 159.2 thousand euros of the previous year. The results of 2021 as well as the results of 2020 are significantly reduced due to the effects of COVID-19 as for many months the Company’s client companies abroad were suspended. These effects gradually decreased at the end of 2021 and were almost eliminated in the first quarter of 2022. In the first quarter of 2022 the company’s turnover was significantly increased, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2021, ie 839.4 thousand euros compared to 375 “3 thousand euros, due to the retreat of the effects of Covid-19 and at the same time the achievement of significant new sales of the company’s software products to large companies in the field of food and education”.
