LOL 2: who won and what the final left us

For us, the second season of LOL – Who laughs is out has managed, instead, not only to give a healthy diversion from the terrible news that has underpinned the news since Russia invaded Ukraine, but also to illuminate the talent of several champions who have chosen to get involved to give life to a social experiment that reveals much of a profession, that of the artist, which not everyone seems to fully understand. Arousing laughter in a colleague is not a walk: in between there are the background, the resistance, but also the desire not to disfigure and, why not, not to give satisfaction to another member of the category who could be more or less brilliant than those who resist. Along with this human and professional nuance, LOL 2 he also succeeds in demonstrating how much improvisation, for those who work as a comedian, is precious and fundamentalbecause the pieces prepared and tested dozens of times agree, but the thrill of discovering what an artist can invent extemporaneously in order to stay in the game has a completely different flavor.

In the fifth and sixth installments of LOLwhich had the misfortune to debut on Prime Video on the same day as the first Russian attack in Ukraine, the comedians try to resist by using their weapons to bring down their opponents. Some comedic gimmicks are stronger than others and particularly captivate audiences. And, even for this alone, a LOL we should just say thank you.
