Lollapalooza Brasil announced, this Tuesday (31), the artists of its 2023 “sideshows” – festival attractions that will perform solo, in São Paulo, in the days close to the event.
The organization of the festival chose the hardcore punk band Rise Against the Swedish indie pop star tove lo and the rockstar of generation Z, yungblud.
The concerts will take place at the venues Cine Joia and Audio Club, in São Paulo, on the 22nd, 23rd and 28th of March. Tickets are already being sold, with prices starting at R$ 160 (half price) and R$ 320 (full ticket), through the Tickets for Fun.
Singer Tove Lo has not been to Brazil since 2019, when she participated in the Popload Festival, also in São Paulo.
The owner of the hit “Habits (Stay High)”, nominated for a Grammy and with a history of collaborations with Coldplay, Nick Jonas and Wiz Khalifa, returns to Lolla after having already participated in the 2017 edition.
Yungblud arrives for his first visit to the country. He is part of the new artists movement that looks for inspirations in the pop-punk of the beginning of the millennium and helped to re-oxygenate the style, like WILLOW and Machine Gun Kelly.
Mick Jagger once quoted him in an interview with Swedish radio P4 as saying that this “kind of post-punk vibe” makes him think that “there’s still some life in rock and roll”.
The band Rise Against – formed in Chicago, USA, in 1999 – is the veteran of the trio of shows apart from Lollapalooza. They haven’t been to Brazil since 2017, when they played at the Maximus Festival, also at the Interlagos Circuit, along with names like Slayer, Ghost and Linkin Park.
This time, they should focus their presentation on their latest album, the EP “Nowhere Generation II”, released in June of last year in an unexpected way, which continued the homonymous album released the previous year.

Blink 182, Billie Eilish and Drake
Lollapalooza Brasil will be headlined by the trio Blink-182, with the return of vocalist Tom DeLonge, in addition to singer Billie Eilish – both will come to Brazil for the first time. Canadian rapper Drake completes the trio of headliners.
Among the main attractions are singer Rosalía, who was recently in São Paulo for a sold-out show, and rapper Lil Nas X, who also arrives for an unprecedented performance in the country.
Lolla 2023 will take place between the 24th and 26th of March, at the Interlagos Circuit, in São Paulo. Tickets are already on sale and cost, for the full weekend, R$ 1,800 (half price) and R$ 3,600 (full price).
Daily tickets are already sold out for the day of Blink-182 (March 25), but the Friday and Sunday of the festival are still on sale for BRL 660 (half ticket) and BRL 1,320 (full ticket).
