This year’s edition of Lollapalooza suffered the first downtown on his line-up on the night of Monday (17), when the Fontaines DC shared on his social networks a letter signed by his singer announcing the CANCELLATION OF SHOWS that the Irish band would make in Latin America.

“I am devastated to announce that because of a herniated disc, we will cancel tomorrow’s show in Mexico and the following dates in Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia,” said Chatten. “I was very excited to play in these beautiful countries, but I was advised to seek urgent medical care today.”
“We are very grateful for all the support and, with all my heart, I’m sorry that I can’t play for you,” concluded the Irishman.
Fontaines DC would perform on Friday (28), the first day of Lollapalooza Brasil 2025, whose headliners are Olivia Rodrigo and Rüfüs Du Sol. In addition to the festival, the band would also make a Sideshow, which would take place two days earlier at the audio, concert hall located in the west of São Paulo.

Lollapalooza Brasil regrets confirm the cancellation of the presentation of the band Fontaines DC due to medical issues.
