The lead singer of Thirty Seconds To Mars, Jared Leto, fulfilled his tradition and wore, once again, the shirt of the Brazilian Football Team during the show this Saturday (23), at the festival Lollapalooza . The model chosen was from left-back Marcelo .
Jared Leto received the Fluminense player who joined the band and played during the performance of the song “Stuck”.
Audience took a while to arrive
Jared Leto's band's show started with a small audience, which ended up taking a while to move from the Samsung stage, where the Hozier show took place, to the Budweiser stage, where the Thirty Seconds To Mars show took place.
The difficulty in moving was caused by the mud that formed on the path connecting the stages.
As time passed, more and more people came down the hill from the main stage to see the band's show, which started with the hits “Up In The Air” and “Kings and Queens”.
“Brazil, you are the best audience in the world”, shouted Leto.
Interacting a lot with the audience, Jared Leto used words in Portuguese while inviting fans to dance on stage. “Açaí” and “samba” were the words spoken by the singer and Oscar winner for Best Supporting Actor for “Dallas Buyers Club”.
“This Is War”, “The Kill (Bury Me)” and “Closer To The Edge” were also on the band's setlist.
