The singer Justin Timberlake 43, was announced this Tuesday (3) as the headliner of the 2025 edition of Lollapalooza Brazil . Check out below what you can expect from the American star’s performance.
This will be the third time the artist will come to Brazil, and, in addition to the hits from the early 2000s, he will also be able to present repertoire from his two latest albums: “Everything I Thought It Was” (2024) and “Man of the Woods” (2018).
Despite the 2024 album having good streaming numbers, Timberlake only entered the music charts in 2024 with “Justified” (2002), which was noticed again by the public.
In January of this year, the album reached second place on the Billboard 200, the main album ranking in the United States, and generated four hits in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, a list of songs: “Like I Love You”, “Cry Me a River”, “Rock Your Body” and “Senorita”.
The last time the artist was in Brazil, to perform on the main stage of Rock in Rio 2017, he only presented hits from the early 2000s, even though his most recent album at the time was “The 20/20 experience”, from 2013.
During that performance, however, he was warmly received by fans. He danced from one side of the stage to the other and interacted with the audience to the sounds of “Cry Me a River”, “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and “Mirrors”. Timberlake also came down from the stage to take a selfie with a fan celebrating her birthday.
Now, he’ll share the headline slot at Lollapalooza with Olivia Rodrigo, Alanis Morissette and more. Check out the festival’s full lineup.
