Lombardy: “historic and quality” hotel structures rewarded

The awards ceremony for the first edition of the «Recognition of Historic and Quality Accommodation Facilities”, an exclusive event, strongly desired by Barbara Mazzali, Councilor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Fashion of the Lombardy Region, born to celebrate the excellence of Lombard hospitality.

The recognition was awarded to companies that, for at least fifty years, have been able to keep their name and service alive with continuity, also guaranteeing the regular declaration of tourist flows in the last three years. To receive this honor, 109 structures symbolizing tradition and quality, as well as testimony to the richness and variety of Lombardy’s accommodation offer, divided among the various provinces who were awarded a plaque, delivered directly by Barbara Mazzali.

The regional councilors also participated in the ceremony: Elena Lucchini (Family, Social Solidarity, Disability and Equal Opportunities), Alessandro Fermi (University, Research, Innovation) and the undersecretary to the Presidency of the Lombardy Region with responsibility for Autonomy and Relations with the Council Regional Mauro Piazza.
