Britain announced today that it would send military experts to Bosnia and Herzegovina to counter Russian influence and to “strengthen the NATO Mission and promote stability and security” in the country.
“We can not allow the Western Balkans to become another arena for the destructive aspirations of (Russian President Vladimir Putin). By fomenting the flames of secession and sectarianism, Russia seeks to overturn the profits of the last three decades in Russia.” , says in a statement the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
“That is why we are increasing our support for Bosnia and Herzegovina, responding to the call of our friends to help protect the peace that they so justly deserve to enjoy,” the statement added.
