London sword attack: Before murdering 14-year-old, attacker entered home and attacked sleeping family

The 36-year-old man who stabbed a 14-year-old boy to death in London on Holy Tuesday was said to be on a rampage. Little Daniel Anjorin, originally from Nigeria, was on his way to school when 36-year-old Marcus Monjo attacked a group of children with a sword, seriously injuring four of them along with a police officer who rushed to help. Before murdering the 14-year-old, Marcus Monzo allegedly broke into a home where a couple were sleeping with their four-year-old daughter and attacked the father, injuring him in the arm and neck, a court was told today. Monzo appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday wearing, SkyNews reports, a gray sweatshirt and overalls and spoke only to confirm his name. The 36-year-old, a self-described “mystic” musician from Brazil, is charged with the murder of 14-year-old Daniel, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, burglary and possession of a weapon.
