The online television service YouTube TV was launched at the beginning of 2017, it provides access to various television channels, of which there were about a hundred last summer.
The YouTube apps for iOS and Android, and YouTube Music and Kids, already support offline viewing so you can download and watch interesting videos without worrying about unstable internet connections.
However, this feature is still missing from the YouTube TV Android app. The situation should change soon, as stated in the code of the latest version of the application. YouTube TV for Android (5.06.2) has a system notification with the message Looking for incomplete downloads. This is the same notification that you see in the main YouTube app and its other apps that offer offline viewing.

The source adds that soon users will be able to download movies and series to their device for later viewing without a network connection. In addition, the app can notify you when you are offline and prompt you to open the downloads section where you can select your saved videos.
After Android, this feature should also appear in iOS. YouTube TV is currently only available in the US.
