Look4Sat – Easily track the passage of satellites. Thanks to the huge database provided by Celestrak and SatNOGS, you have access to over 3,000 active satellites orbiting the Earth. You can search the entire database by satellite name or by NORAD number.
Satellite positions and passes are calculated relative to your location. To get reliable information, be sure to set the observation position using GPS or QTH Locator in the Settings menu.
The app is built using Kotlin, Coroutines, Architecture Components and Jetpack Navigation. It is now and always will be completely ad-free and open source.
Main functions:
- Prediction of the position of satellites and passages for up to 4 days (96 hours)
- Displaying a list of currently active and upcoming satellite passes
- Display of active passage, polar trajectory and transceiver information
- Display satellite position, coverage area and ground track on the map
- Custom TLE data import is available through files with extensions TXT or TLE
- Offline First: Calculations are performed offline. A weekly update of TLE data is recommended.
