Looks awesome! Bentley officially unveils Continental GT Speed

On March 23, 2021, Bentley Motors officially unveiled the Continental GT Speed, a new version of its bestseller. It is the most powerful and performance-oriented Bentley ever.

The two-door sports car is powered by a 6.0-liter 12-cylinder engine that produces 650 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. Continental GT Speed accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds, and its top speed is 334 km / h. As you can see, the new sports car has the same engines as the Bentley Continental GT and Continental GT, but its performance is much higher.

Matthias Rabe, CTO at Bentley, said the new Continental GT Speed is the pinnacle of high performance racing cars.

The Continental GT Speed features air springs, adaptive dampers and Bentley’s Dynamic Ride system, which uses active anti-roll bars. Buyers will be able to opt for carbon ceramic brakes, which will save 32kg in weight over conventional cast iron discs. The complete set of wheels will remain standard – 22 inches.

The new Continental GT Speed has also improved the performance of the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which runs several times faster. Bentley said it took just 150 to 170 milliseconds to go from third to fourth speed, compared to 300-320 milliseconds in a regular GT.

The appearance of the car has also changed. The Continental GT Speed features a dark radiator grille, lower front bumper air intake and more prominent side sills. Jewel fuel and oil filler caps are standard, as are Bentley illuminated door sill guards.

The interior of the sports car combines leather upholstery with Alcantara accents, and the Speed logo is featured on the passenger-side dashboard. Diamond quilted stitching on the seats is standard. However, customers can optionally order dark aluminum inserts for the center console.
