Lory Del Santo recalls Donald Trump’s advances: “I could have been the First Lady of America, but I didn’t want to”

THEory Del Santo could have been the new first lady of America in place of Melania Trump. The showgirl herself revealed it, connecting from Miami with A day as a sheep on Rai Radio 1, in the hours following Donald Trump’s re-election as US president. The two, as the sixty-six year old said, yes they met by chance about thirty years ago in an elevator at Trump Tower of New York. Donald noticed her and asked for her phone number: «He really wanted me, he spent all his time, he didn’t wait for me to call him, he came to me, he looked for me several times.” Lory and Donald spent time together, but when he returned to Italy she decided not to call him back: «Let’s say I’m the one who didn’t want itthe doors would have been opened for me.” Today, however, “I would immediately get engaged to Donald Trump.” Because he has “charisma”, he is “someone who works”, and what’s more, she likes him physically: “I like men who are so rounded, soft, sexy».

Del Santo then returned to the topic in a video link with The Good Timewhere she reiterated that it was she who said no to Trump: «I might even regret it but sometimes you make choices and you shouldn’t live in anguish of having made a mistake. At the time I decided like this and there is no going back.” Lory had spoken about Trump’s advances even after his first election as US president. «One day he called me: “Where are you? I’ll join you.” I was at a friend’s house who was renovating his house, so I told him that at that moment I was in the middle of a building site, in disarray, and that maybe it wasn’t worth meeting up. He said he didn’t care, and joined me.” This is how the two organized their evening: «We went to dinner together. In a beautiful restaurant, on Park Avenue. It was a beautiful evening. He is a great gentleman. It was the third time we had seen each other and something could have happened… But the I had to leave the next day and I didn’t feel like it. I came home alone”.

Lory – who has been engaged to since 2015 Marco Cucolothirty-three years younger than her – she would never have thought that she had “rejected” a man destined to become, twice, president of the United States. Who is now enjoying his second term alongside his wife, twice First Lady of America, Melania Trump.
