The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released photos of the suspect in the Monterey Park, Calif., mass shooting that left 10 people dead and 10 others injured.
Sheriff Robert Luna tweeted photos of the man and noted that investigators identified him as a homicide suspect who should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

On Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 10:22 pm, the adult Asian male suspect pictured above was involved in a shooting. Investigators have identified him as a homicide suspect and he should be considered armed and dangerous,” the sheriff wrote.
Police said the motive for the attack was not yet clear. Officials are looking for an individual who meets the descriptions released and is said to be at large driving a van.
The shooting took place near the Monterey Park Lunar New Year festival area, which was scheduled to run until 9:00 pm (local time) on Saturday (21) on Garvey Avenue, between Garfield and Alhambra avenues.
