The living microbiological barrier located on the skin surface consists of a specific microbial flora which can be disturbed by internal or external factors. In order for the skin to function perfectly, to be able to protect itself effectively and best defend itself against external aggressions, the microbiota must reach the right balance. This balance helps to strengthen the skin’s innate immunity and its defense capabilities, also helping to create an optimal level of receptivity, to benefit from subsequent treatments.

The formula for the microbiota

To keep the skin in balance by enhancing its vital functions, Emulsion Ecologique acts on the microbiota thanks to bardania extract – rich in inulin, a prebiotic sugar which is assimilated by the good bacteria present on the skin -, and on skin immunity, i.e. resilience of the skin and its ability to defend itself against external aggressions, which is stimulated by the meadowsweet extract. In addition, the five active ingredients already included in the original formula are also present: remineralizing horsetail, toning ginseng, stimulating rosemary, hop extract and gotu kola. The new advanced version optimizes skin homeostasis, necessary for its physiological balance.
