Two new versions of Blind Marriage are coming to Netflix in August: Mexico and the United Kingdom. The first premieres on Thursday (1st) and the second enters the streaming service’s catalog next Wednesday, the 7th.
The experiment aims to test whether love is blind. Participants are confined and start talking in booths without seeing each other. Those who create a real connection can advance in the program by getting married. After that, they go on their honeymoon and real life, where they live for a month in an apartment with their cell phone, work and personal life back.
The dating reality show has several seasons of different nationalities, including Brazilian. See all the versions of the program below.
- Love is Blind USA
The American version of the reality show, known as Love is Blind, was launched in 2020 and so far, has six seasons available, the last of which arrived on the platform at the beginning of this year.
- Blind Marriage Brazil
The Brazilian version of the show was a huge success on Netflix and already has four seasons, the last of which was released this year. Watch the trailer for the first season below.
- Blind Marriage Japan
In 2022, a Japanese version of the show also gained a season. In total, 11 episodes are available on streaming.
- Blind Marriage Sweden
Over the course of 10 episodes, Swedish singles looking for their soulmate also agreed to meet other candidates “blindly” and choose one person to spend the rest of their lives with.
Although the first season was released in January this year, Netflix has already indicated that a new season will be released soon.
