Love Is Blind: Presenters welcome Ingrid after report of violence

Camila Queiroz 31, and Klebber Toledo 38, spoke out via Instagram Stories after the participant of Blind Marriage: A New Chance Ingrid Santa Rita, reported an episode of abuse during the reunion episode.

“On Sunday, we were struck by Ingrid’s sad story during the recordings of Reencontro. Since the day we received the news, we have talked to and welcomed Ingrid in every way we could,” began the note signed by the reality show’s presenters.

“We are very sorry for what happened and we could not fail to publicly express our full support and solidarity with her and all women who, unfortunately, still suffer or have suffered any type of violence,” they concluded.

Reality show contestant Ingrid Santa Rita said that she and Leandro Marçal, whom she married on the show, are no longer together. The architect said during the reunion that the reason for the breakup was the lack of respect on the part of the personal trainer, who, according to her, tried to keep the marriage in a “dirty” and “filthy” way.

“First I slept naked, then I slept in my underwear, then I started sleeping in my pajamas, then I grabbed my pillow and went to sleep on my couch, running away from you in my bed, in my room, in my house. You didn’t respect me a single day, that’s why I broke up with you,” Ingrid said in part of the story.

“The day my daughters found me on the floor having a panic attack, begging you for the love of God not to touch my body, I asked you not to touch me. I asked you more than once, Leandro, not to touch me and you didn’t respect me. You didn’t listen to me. You wanted to solve your erectile problem with yourself. It was your ego. It was your lies. Because you just wanted to keep that marriage in its dirty and filthy form,” he continued.
