The story of the couple Luana and Eduardo, ahead of the metzi the only Mexican restaurant with touches of Brazilianness in the country and on the list 50 Best Restaurants in Latin America started in New York .
Today, April 19th, the chefs miss the city that welcomed them so well and prepare a special 6-hands dinner at the Reckless Restaurant – Chef’s Mexican House Eduardo Santos .
The dinner will have 6 stages and in the menu the chefs of the house from São Paulo present the famous Tostada de octopus; chintextle and cambuci; White mole, Brazilian nuts, cauliflower, black tucupi and jambu; Shrimp, salsa macha with lemon leaf sauva and parsley kut.

The couple met in 2017 while working at the renowned Cosme , a contemporary restaurant with a menu inspired by Mexican flavors. In 2020, they returned to Brazil with the aim of opening a place that would revolutionize Mexican cuisine in São Paulo, since the main reference here was Tex-Mex, a fusion of Mexican and American cuisine, derived from the culinary creations of the Tejanos.
And so they did. At the end of 2020 they opened the Metzi, in Pinheiros, where they present refined cuisine with Mexican flavors and many Brazilian ingredients and touches. The success was immediate, so much so that in 2022 they already conquered the 27th position on the list of the 50 Best Restaurants Latin America.
