The actor Lucas Bravo 36, revealed that she is considering leaving the cast of “Emily in Paris “, series of Netflix . In an interview, Gabriel’s interpreter confessed that both for him and his character, things in production aren’t so fun anymore .
“Gabriel was an important part of me in the first season, but every year we grew apart because of the choices he made and the direction they took with the character,” Bravo told IndieWire. “We’ve never been so far apart ”.
“The first year, there was a lot of me in it,” he added. “However, as they transformed him into someone oblivious to what is happening around him, always victimizing himself and completely lost, being manipulated by everyone, filming or watching a character I love so much gradually transform into something so far away became not much fun .”.
He also revealed to the website that is evaluating whether to return for the fifth season . “My contract ends on Wednesday. I would love to see Gabriel return to being that fun, charming, playful and full of life guy. After all, playing someone melancholy, sad, depressed and lost for three seasons isn’t fun anymore.”
Finally, Bravo commented: “However, I really love the series . She represents the beginning of everything for me. I like the series and the people in it. With that said, I feel like I’m not being entirely kind or grateful, but when you love something you want the best for it… I can’t deny that I’m frustrated with the direction my character is going ”.
In the most recent episodes of the series, Emily needs to face the arrival of a new co-worker, deal with the relationship between Camille and Gabriel, in addition to discovering a new love interest, who leads her down new paths.
The cast of “Emily in Paris” still has Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucien Lavinscount (Alfie), Camille Razat (Camille), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie) and more.
Netflix has four seasons of the series in its catalog. THE fifth year does not yet have a premiere date .
