The arrival of the well-known Neapolitan make-up artist in Byredo announces a new ambitious chapter for
Byredo Makeup distributed in Italy exclusively by Olfattorio. Lucia Pica, takes over from Isamaya Ffrench who, after 3 intense years as Creative Director of Byredo Makeup developed jointly with Ben Gorham, passes the baton.
Given the success of the collection since its launch in 2020, Lucia Pica will collaborate with the founder and Artistic Director of Byredo, Ben Gorham, to further expand her creative universe,
the initial offer of make-up products and the bond with those who wear it. «The trick is the first
category of Byredo that I don’t use personally, so I consider it important to collaborate with
who has a subjective vision », says Ben Gorham,« and Lucia’s work is exceptional. The way in
which he portrays people through makeup – their strength but also their vulnerability, their state
soul – it’s wonderful, and reflects what I hope to achieve in Byredo. Our ambitions

Pica joins Byredo with an unprecedented experience in the beauty and fashion sector, after six years as Chanel’s Global Creative Makeup and Color Designer and twenty years as a freelance make-up artist, working with the most important photographers and artists of the sector. The bold color
used in an accessible way is the signature of Pica’s sophisticated makeup looks. It is this spirit of
awareness and freedom that brought her to Byredo Makeup. “There is such elegance to Byredo – an interesting and purposeful beauty,” said Pica. “I am thrilled to work with Ben to translate this essence into make-up, so that people recognize this sensitivity in makeup. instant in which they see it.
