Electric car maker Lucid Group said it would be recalling more than 200 of its premium sedans over possible safety concerns, sending its stock down nearly 5%.
The California-based company said it was possible that the A-pillar damper – a part used in the suspension – in its sedans was improperly assembled by a supplier.

The company is not aware of any failure of any part in its electric vehicles, but it expects said damper to be incorrectly installed in about 1% of potentially affected vehicles.
The company began production of the $169,000 electric sedan last September, after delays caused by quality issues. It has since shipped a small number of electric vehicles.
