The New Order of Lucifer on Earth, a religious order from Rio Grande do Sul, drew attention on social media last week after announcing the construction of a sanctuary with the image of Lucifer in the city of Gravataí (RS). The space will be inaugurated next Tuesday (13) and the statue representing it will be 5 meters tall. The location of the giant statue of Lucifer will be kept confidential.
According to the Christian Holy Bible, Lucifer was an angel who was “cast down to earth” by God. In a passage from the book of Ezekiel, the priest described him as “proud because of his beauty” and “corrupted his wisdom because of his splendor.” In Luciferianism, he is seen as an angel venerated as a savior and guardian, and an opponent of Jehovah.

The New Order of Lucifer on Earth presents itself on social media as a “historical milestone” in the worship of Lucifer. The religion mentions the application of “magic” and “resistance”, making “blood become voice”.
In a post to launch the page on Instagram on February 28 of this year, the administrators refer to their followers as “wolves”. The order uses the book “Chain 72” as a rule of faith and practice, similar to what the Bible represents for Christians. The book is written by Tata Hélio de Astaroth, co-founder of the order.
Regarding the relationship between the faithful and the devil, the organization explains in a post that human beings are composed of energy, and that this energy is lost from birth, where, according to them, the soul connects with the body. It also says that it is in the lack of energy in the soul that the answer to the pact with the devil lies.
The explanation mentions that it is people who seek the pact to replenish this energy, and that it is they who attract the attention of a demon, never the other way around. “For demons, we are like ants, so many will try to contact us and will never succeed.”
The New Order states that it does not summon demons, but rather summons “fragments” of their energy, representing “0.01%” of that demon. “When reintegrating this fragment into life, we offer blood to keep it alive, for blood symbolizes life. The summoner sends parts of himself back to the original location, generating the summoned spirit, or demon, and establishing a channel of communication.”
In the most recent post on their social media, the order calls on followers for a “unique moment of evolution and self-knowledge, where we celebrate duality and the search for true spiritual understanding.”

In a post, the New Order of Lucifer announces that it markets rituals with different approaches.
For the “3 Moons of Hecate” ritual, prices range from R$285 for group rituals to R$1,450 for individual rituals. You can pay in 12 installments on your credit card.
In Greek mythology, Hecate was a goddess of wild lands and childbirth who had the power to grant strength to men who sacrificed to her and to women who honored her, and the goddess protected her children.
The ritual is presented as a way of growth and the search for abundance and understanding. Creators of the giant statue of Lucifer charge up to R$6,000 for rituals on social media. Payment methods are facilitated by the administrators of the order.
