Ludmilla on being a black woman and mother: “Example for this child”

The singer Ludmilla 29, took advantage of the Black Awareness Day this Wednesday (20), to reflect on being a black woman and now, a mother.

“Today has a new meaning for me. Now, as a black woman, LGBTQIAPN+ and mother. I have always received with great affection and responsibility the fact of being seen by all of you as a reference”, began Ludmilla in her Instagram stories.

“But the desire I have to be an example for this child who hasn’t even been born yet, and who I already love more than anything, is even greater,” continued the singer.

“May today serve to remember the importance of those who, even before we recognized ourselves as black people, were already doing 10 times more to be seen as equal. We resist!” he concluded.

Ludmilla and Brunna announced their first pregnancy during a show on the “Numanice 3” tour, in São Paulo, on November 9th. In a black and white video shown on the screen, Ludmilla paints a picture while Brunna dances. After the pregnancy announcement, the footage turns to color.

“Now there are three of us,” the artists captioned a joint post on Instagram.
