Luigi Mangioni: His journey from rich kid and star student to suspect in the murder of the CEO of the insurance company in New York

The online version of 26-year-old Luigi Mangioni was that he was a techie who showed himself off in photos of beaches and parties with his friends. He was the highest-ranked graduate of a prestigious Baltimore school, earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Pennsylvania, and served as the head counselor in a pre-college program at Stanford University. With his credentials and connections, he could one day rise to the position of entrepreneur or CEO in one of his family’s thriving businesses. Instead, researchers suspect it took a different path.
