Lula and Bolsonaro do not take us to another level, says Marçal, pre-candidate for Pros

The pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic Pablo Marçal (Pros) said this Thursday (16) that neither Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (EN) not Jair Bolsonaro (PL), leaders in polls for voting intentions and their opponents in the dispute, have the capacity to take Brazil to “another level”. If his name is confirmed, the man from Goiás will be the first candidate for the Palácio do Planalto of the Republican Party of Social Order (Pros).

Marçal is a law graduate, entrepreneur and digital influencer. On social media, he has millions of followers. In an interview with CNN newspaper posed as an alternative to polarization.

“It was a call from the people. Today, 70% of voters do not want to vote for either Lula or Bolsonaro, and nobody shows up,” said Marçal, who criticized the “political system”. “The system does not leave anyone out to prosper, neither to become a candidate, nor to position themselves, much less reach the electoral dispute”.

“Brazil was not condemned to have Lula and Bolsonaro as presidents. We already know the modus operandi of the two and neither of them can take us to another level”, pointed out the pre-candidate, who pointed out that the country is in search of a “messiah” that does not exist.

The case of Pico dos Marins

In January of this year, Marçal became involved in a controversy when he encouraged 32 people to climb Pico do Marins while a storm with winds of more than 100 km/h hit the place. The group had to be rescued by the Fire Department.

On the occasion, he said “to be irresponsible with my own life” and that “each one to take care of his own”.

On Thursday, he confessed that the episode was “unfortunate”, but stressed that “it did not harm anyone”.

government plans

To combat the hunger that affects Brazil, the candidate will, if elected, carry out a structural reform through education. Also resume investments in works, invest in the electrical matrix and implement the “welfare migration”. “This is the electoral project, always creating dependency. We have to create interdependence, reduce the size of the State, this state gigantism. There is no such program where the person enters and stays. We are encouraging this wretchedness of the vote, encouraging unproductivity,” he said.
