Lula calls the Minister of Education from NY to talk about the case of ‘collective masturbation’

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) called the Minister of Education, Camilo Santana, from New York, in the United States, concerned about the case of students who simulated collective masturbation during a university game in São Paulo.

“The president called me yesterday from New York, concerned about this episode. I reported to him the measures we took in relation to this”, said Santana, this Tuesday (19), after the case came to light in the press.

Lula is in the USA to participate in the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

The case of simulated collective masturbation in front of female volleyball athletes during a university game in the interior of the state.

Videos published on social media show Unisa students with shorts down and touching their genitals next to the court where athletes from Centro Universitário São Camilo were playing.

The case occurred between April 28th and May 1st, but only came to light last weekend.

Santana also said that, among the measures taken, he requested that the institution be notified, which, in turn, expelled those involved.

“We are awaiting official notification from the college. I think that not only is it important to expel the students, but also that they can respond legally to the events that occurred, which is regrettable”, he commented.

“We cannot imagine a young man with this type of attitude. Especially a young man who wants to be a doctor in this country”, he concluded.

The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP) is investigating the case.
