Lula meets climate envoys from the United States and China at COP27

President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) met, this Tuesday (15), with climate envoys John Kerry, from the United States, and Xie Zhenhua, from China, at the United Nations Climate Summit (COP27) .

At the meeting, Lula talked about his intention to return Brazil to talks about the environment and global issues without denialism about the climate issue.

The future head of the Brazilian Executive arrived in Sharm el-Sheik, in Egypt, on Monday (14).

On Wednesday (16), Lula should meet with at least five governors of the states that make up the Legal Amazon region at the stand that the consortium set up at the COP27 space.

Gladson Cameli (PP), from Acre; Mauro Mendes (União Brasil), from Mato Grosso; Helder Barbalho (MDB), from Pará; Wanderlei Barbosa (Republicans), from Tocantins; and Marcos Rocha (União Brasil), from Rondônia, will deliver a letter proposing an alliance with the federal government for the preservation of the forest.
