On the first working day of his term as president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) signed measures that will have economic impacts, such as the extension of the tax exemption on fuel. The exemption had been adopted by former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) amid constant increases in gasoline and diesel prices.
The president also determined, this Monday (02), the repeal of the acts that follow the privatization of state-owned companies such as Petrobras and the Post Office.
