President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) received, this Monday morning (29), the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, at the Planalto Palace. The Venezuelan president went up the ramp of the building next to his wife, Cilia Flores, former president of the National Assembly, and was welcomed by Lula and the first lady, Janja.
It is the first time that Maduro has visited Brazil since July 2015, when he was in the country for a Mercosur summit held in Brasília, during the government of former President Dilma Rousseff (PT).
