President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) spoke again about the need to strengthen integration between the Mercosur countries in a meeting with the president of Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou, in the capital Montevideo, this Wednesday (25).
The Brazilian president also made clear his interest in expanding discussions and closing agreements with other extra-regional blocs. Lula said that, after signing the agreement with the European Union, Mercosur may move forward in negotiations with China.
