The president-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), announced on the previous day 16 new names that will head the ministries of his next government. Among them, some linked to economic management.
The main surprise of the announcement was the elected vice-president, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), for the Industry and Commerce portfolio. But names such as Márcio França (Ports and Airports), Esther Dweck (Management and Innovation) and Luiz Marinho (Labor).
The lack of definition goes to the Ministry of Planning, in the midst of internal discussions about the most appropriate name for managing the area. According to specialists, the general balance of announced names shows that the economic team of squid has a more PT face than a broad front.
