Lula’s government plan does not allow abortion and drugs; flyer released is fake

The piece of disinformation has already been denied by the Rumors.org and the Metrópoles portal showed that a deputy from the Federal District, from the same party as President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), candidate for reelection, shared the fake content.

The list brings sensitive topics that have been extensively explored in the presidential campaign, such as the liberation of abortion and drugs and the persecution of Christian religions, and which have already been refuted in other verifications by Comprova (1 and two) and press reports such as CNN and Estadão.

At the beginning of the month, the TSE even determined the withdrawal of internet posts that claimed that Lula persecutes churches and religious people. The agency also determined, on the 20th, the suspension of advertising on digital platforms, of Bolsonaro supporters, who associated Lula with drugs, murder and abortion.

O official plan of the Lula-Alckmin ticket is registered with the Electoral Court and can be consulted by any citizen on the website that publishes the candidacies. Some of the topics mentioned in the fake pamphlet, such as abortion, do not even appear in the PT’s eventual government program.

Scope of publication: Comprova investigates suspicious content with the greatest reach on social networks. As of October 29, Instagram content had 7,750 likes and 519 comments. On Kwai it had 596 views, 20 likes and 10 shares. It is not possible to measure virality on WhatsApp.

What does the publisher say?: Comprova contacted the author of the publication through the advisory number available on the Instagram profile and through the social network message box, but received no response.

How do we check: The report did Google searches with keywords, associating the name Lula with each of the topics listed in the pamphlet. The query returned reports and verifications about the same piece investigated here and other content with similar subjects.

Comprova also consulted the government plan of the Lula-Alckmin ticket, registered on the TSE website. In addition, he made contact with the PT’s advisors to express his opinion on the case and sought out the author of the false publications.

The program also does not mention LGBTQIA+ inclusive education, as suggested in the fake play. The proposal provides, in item 41 of the topic “Social development and guarantee of rights”, actions to prevent violence against this part of the population and also guarantees of rights to health and education.

Lula’s proposal in the area of ​​drugs is the institution of a new policy to address the issue.
