Luxury chain Four Seasons announces first adults-only resort in Mexico

The new naviva is the first resort in the chain Four Seasons adults only and promises to be a true oasis in Punta Mita, in the middle of Riviera Nayarit, at the Mexico.

With a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean, the hotel, with just 15 tents immersed in nature, officially opens its doors on December 1, 2022.

The international design office Luxury Frontiers was responsible for creating what is one of the smallest Four Seasons in the world. The inspiration was the term “biophilia”, from the Greek, which means “love of living things”. The luxurious tents have private pools and are fully integrated into the surrounding greenery, while the individualized experiences are designed for adults.

“Naviva is an ambitious, individual-centric concept with innovative services that bring guests closer to nature,” says Vince Parrotta, president of operations for the Four Seasons chain. “Curated to experiences created by a team of guides, the resort is wellness-oriented and embraces local culture.”

Despite its location deep in the jungle of the Riviera Nayarit, the resort may seem far from it all, but in reality it is in one of Mexico’s most accessible regions, with daily flights from the capital, explains Ronny Fernández, the resort’s manager.

Authentic experiences or just enjoy the dolce far niente

Even before arrival, guests can count on the services of a private guide to design a personalized itinerary, being able to choose between different activities in the region or simply relax in paradise.

The rhythm of the day guides the experiences: tasting coffees produced by small local farmers, rituals at sunset and stargazing. Mexican culture is highlighted in visits to local artists’ studios, such as Jose Juan Esparza and therapies inspired by the traditions of the peoples of the region.

The resort will feature a forest-inspired pool that surrounds the property, access to a private beach, yoga pavilion and outdoor gym, in addition to prioritizing the use of products based on local ingredients.

Heaven has a price

Rates start at USD 3,950 (about R$20,000) and include all meals and snacks at any time of the day throughout the resort, in addition to 24-hour room service, pool and beach service, all premium drinks, a 60 minute spa treatment per guest, all group activities, planning guides and in-tent amenities.

Exclusive Naviva experiences, additional spa treatments, private lessons and transfers are available at an additional cost.
