Luxury hotel in Brussels launches room named after Tintin

A Belgium is one of the birthplaces of comics: there are more than 700 Belgian comic artists and more than 50 murals spread across Brussels honoring different artists. The city is a real delight for lovers of the theme.

Among the most famous Belgian comics is “Adventures of Tintin” created by Hergé, in 1929. The strips were published between 1930 and 1986 and translated into almost 100 languages.

To celebrate these stories and their remarkable characters, the friendly hotel located in the center of Brussels, announced a project of a concierge specialist in comics from Belgium.

The hotel’s Comic Concierge will conduct a “treasure hunt” for comics throughout the city. Along with the guests, you will pass through hidden streets with giant murals and thematic exhibitions in the main museums of the destination.

Another novelty is the launch of the TinTim Suite, with treasures from the Moulinsart/Hergé house featuring Tintin, Snowy and even Captain Haddock.

There, it will be possible to see the drawing signed by Steven Spielberg during his stay at the hotel 10 years ago, when he was in town for the launch of the film Tintin, an animation directed by the filmmaker. Complete the decor, bedding, pillows, towels and photographs. A real dive into the universe of Tintin.
