M.Video has updated the terms of the bonus program, banning the use of bonuses on Apple equipment and set-top boxes

The Russian network of stores of household appliances and electronics M.Video has updated the terms of its bonus program. The retailer has made changes to the list of products for the purchase of which customers can spend the accumulated bonuses. Now Apple’s technology and several other categories of devices have been banned, as reported by the vc.ru portal.

Under the terms of the M.Video bonus program, the buyer gets bonus points for every purchase in the chain’s stores. Each bonus is equal to one ruble. With the accumulated bonuses, customers can pay up to 50% of their next purchase. True, now bonus rubles cannot be spent on Apple devices, game consoles, accessories and some other goods.

“Yes, indeed, there are some restrictions on the acceptance of bonus rubles, but there are thousands of products in our catalog that you can purchase profitably by using bonus rubles,” said the representatives of the retailer, stressing that customers can easily find what to spend the accumulated points.

However, many users were unhappy with the changes made to the bonus program, because many of the goods they needed, on which they wanted to spend the accumulated points, ended up in the so-called stop list. According to them, now there is no point in shopping at M.Video, because there are other stores where you can buy equipment cheaper, albeit without cashback.
