“Headache” attacks by wild animals

India is a country with a large population, which as it proliferates, seeks more space, so areas of land that would normally be home to wildlife are constantly encroached upon by humans.

So attacks by wild animals are not a rare phenomenon, as well they forage and go to inhabited areas. Yes, as the years go by those involving especially wild animals, such as elephants, tigers and leopards, are decreasing.

However, the last period of time attacks on humans are increasing, from animals that were considered “harmless”, such as monkeys and especially macaqueswhich in addition to finding food, may develop relationships with humans, which usually lead to disastrous results.

Typically in 2020, the Macaque named Kalua became known throughout India, because he mutilated dozens of children’s faces – mainly girls – where they were scarred for life, while in some cases many plastic surgeries were needed, so that some parts of the face were functional .

According to the authorities, the monkey in question had developed relations with a dealer in adulterated alcohol, who gave the Macaque drink, causing the animal to become addicted. So when the dealer died, the animal lost control, unable to find the alcohol it wanted, and began a barrage of attacks on people, until experts put an end to it.
