macOS 13 Ventura Unveiled: Multitasking in Style, Saving Safari and No Man’s Sky:

The announcement of a new version of the macOS operating system surprised few people, but Apple did not introduce radically new features. For example, there is a Stage Manager feature that offers stylish multitasking – the main application is located in the center of the screen, while out-of-focus programs are listed on the left.

Some features migrated to the desktop operating system directly from iOS 16 – Live Text support now extends to all content in applications and Spotlight search, and in the Mail application you can cancel sent emails and set them to delayed sending.

The Safari browser has been significantly speeded up, the power consumption of the proprietary application has been reduced, plus the Passkeys function has appeared, which allows you to enter various sites using Face ID and Touch ID technologies without saving the keys on the servers of the sites themselves. True, the technology requires support from the web portal, so you should not expect the mass appearance of the technology.

A separate place at the presentation of macOS was given to games – Apple said that by the end of the year, No Man’s Sky and Resident Evil Village would appear on laptops with M-processors. At what settings and at what resolution they will work is unknown.

The advanced Handoff technology for FaceTime has also appeared – the user can transfer the call to any of his devices without interruption.

And the most interesting thing is that Apple quite seriously suggested using your iPhone instead of a webcam on a MacBook. You can use a special mount to fix the device on the cover of a rather thin gadget to get a better picture.
