The issues of stability in the eastern Mediterranean and the Caucasus were among the issues discussed by its presidents of France and her Turkey, Emmanuel Macron and Recep Tayyip Erdoganrespectively, during a meeting they had yesterday Tuesday (11/7) on the sidelines of the summit of NATO which takes place in Vilnius, Lithuania.
As stated in the brief statement issued by the Élysée, the two presidents also referred to the summit’s priorities, among which are the completion of Sweden’s accession and the prospect of Ukraine joining the Atlantic Alliance.
