French President Emmanuel Macron has called on Russia to end its escalating military operations in Dobas in recent hours and to ease tensions around Ukraine.
During a press conference given in Brussels by Em. Macron stressed that “the situation in Donbas is very worrying” and with many victims and called for an end to military action that is contrary to the agreements reached.
“So far we have no evidence of any de-escalation on the part of Russia,” Macron said.
The French President said that the European allies are first calling for an end to hostilities and de-escalation, and secondly for the start of constructive negotiations. Finally, he noted that in the coming hours there will be coordination between Europeans and the United States, via teleconference, saying: “we are clear about our unity and what we are asking for.”
