Macron: ‘Ready for new sanctions against Moscow if deemed necessary’

French President Emmanuel Macron said today that Western powers were ready to impose new sanctions on Russia if necessary, as they continued efforts to isolate Moscow after the war in Ukraine and force it into a ceasefire.
