Thirty years after the last release, the story takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in which Max — played by Tom Hardy — is captured by a group of rebels and finds himself in the middle of a war started by Empress Furiosa, leader of a group of women enslaved by the villain Immortan Joe. The protagonist then decides to join the girls to try to escape the conflict.
