More than a year after Megxit and from the departure of the Sussexes from London, the museum has decided to move them to the Award Party section where, from mere celebrities, they joined their close friends George Clooney, Victoria and David Beckham.
The wax effigies of Meghan and Harry had been presented to the public on the occasion of their wedding, in May 2018, precisely to celebrate that new union that had sent his Majesty’s subjects into ecstasy.

Tim Waters, director of Madame Tussauds explains: “We are always attentive to the environment in which celebrities are, so we moved the statues of Prince Harry and that of Meghan Markle together with their Hollywood friends, in a decision that reflects their current status».
