Voodoo Jewels
That of Voodoo Jewels is one zero km production and made to order aimed at supporting the work of small local businesses: all the jewels are handmade by the designer and founder of the brand Livia Lazzari in collaboration with some Roman goldsmith masters. The environment and the – very high – quality of the product benefit from it. The idea behind the brand has been, since its inception in 2002, to free the jewel from the classic meaning of a precious object, linked to the use of noble and expensive materials, giving it a new urban character, strong and rebellious.

Founded by Diletta Amodei in 2019, Amotea has its roots in Rome. In her evening dresses, in the silhouettes with fluid shapes, in the essential items of the female wardrobe, specialized haute couture – which has its roots in a tradition handed down for generations – and contemporary design merge. Inspiration comes from chinoiserie from the 1920s, from the jewels of the Victorian era, from oriental wallpapers and from the fashion of the 1970s and 1980s. The production is 100% Made in Italy. And it is not surprising that Acchitto’s jewels have conquered international celebrities such as Adele, Miley Cirus and Sidney Sweeney. Behind the brand, founded in 2018, is the creativity of the two young designers Elena Faccio and Francesca Richiardi, who met in the Fendi style office.

Vernisse
Founded in Rome in 2019, Vernisse is a contemporary fashion brand that was born with the idea of combining haute couture techniques and vintage fabrics. Roman designers Francesca and Eugenia collect fabrics, ribbons and objects from the past, working with vintage retailers in Italy and Europe to create one-of-a-kind pieces. The production takes place entirely in Italy. Each Vernisse garment is handmade in the province of Milan, while the details are finished in a historic laboratory in the center of the Milanese capital where techniques that have been handed down since the early twentieth century are used. The fabrics come from companies that give the two designers access to their jewels production leftovers, available in limited quantities. Mainly these are natural fibers, from silk to wool, from velvet to cotton and linen, depending on the season. No synthetic fibers are used, apart from some cases of vintage fabrics made with lurex and jersey blend yarns.

Luhdo’s leather goods are entirely handmade and designed to last over time. The emerging Italian brand, based in Rome, plays with styles and has the ambition to combine the excellence of Italian craftsmanship with a contemporary yet timeless design. Attention to detail is a distinctive trait of the brand, such as the textile articles made according to an ancient artisan tradition of Lucca dating back to the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The bags are characterized by the marquise inlay motif created thanks to a three-dimensional panel that comes to life after five phases – and many hours – of work.
