Madonna celebrates Thanksgiving with all six of her children

Madonna she’s had a lot to be thankful for this year, celebrating Thanksgiving with all of her kids.

The pop icon celebrated the day with Lourdes Leon26 years, Rocco Ritchie22 years old, David Banda17 years, Chifundo “Mercy” James16, and the twins Ester And Star, 10 years. The whole family, dressed to the nines for the occasion, posed for a series of portraits which Madonna shared on Friday on the his Instagram account. The singer began the post with a photo of herself and her eldest daughter, dated Carlos Leon, both wearing a black corset. She followed up with a group photo of the whole family, with Rocco in a gray suit, David in a light blue turtleneck, Mercy in a dark green dress, and the twins in black and silver glittery dresses. Madonna captioned the post, “What I’m Thankful For.”

Last year Leon revealed that Madonna he is actually a very strict parent. In an article for the magazine Interviews he said that, despite being raised by a world-famous pop star, “we don’t receive any handouts in my family”. Even if, «obviously, I grew up in an extremely privileged environment. It cannot be denied. But I think my mother saw all these famous people’s children and said to herself, ‘My children are not going to be like this.’ Also, I think if your parents pay for things, then they have power over you.”

The Grammy winner adopted David in 2006, Mercy in 2009, Stella and Estere in 2017, while Rocco is her biological child with ex-husband Guy Ritchie.
