This December 1st, World Aids Days American singer Madonna 66, published a new video on YouTube in honor of the victims of the disease caused by HIV. Watch below.
In the video, she sings the song “Live To Tell “, from the album “True Blue”, from 1986, and which is always used by the artist to talk about social issues such as hunger, poverty and the numerous deaths caused by AIDS — especially at the beginning of the global outbreak, at the end of the 20th century, when there were still no medications that could prevent the development of HIV and the consequent emergence of the disease.
There are among the records scenes from the free megashow that Madonna performed on Copacabana beach in May 2024 as the performance of the song at the event featured photos of people who died from AIDS.
This performance was repeated by Madonna several times around the world on her last tour.
When she was in Brazil, she included photos and names of Brazilians, such as, for example, the singer Cazuza (1958 -1990).
Madonna has established herself over her 40-year career as a political and active voice for human rights, against hunger and poverty, and against wars.
