With just a few days left until the landing of the “The Celebration Tour” in Brazil, the presentation of Madonna at the Rio de Janeiro gained prominence in the international press.
In an interview with the North American magazine “W Magazine”, the singer commented on the difficulty in adapting the tour, designed for indoor environments, to Copacabana Beach.
“This show was created for an indoor arena,” explained the artist.
“Transforming and adapting him to perform outdoors on the beach, homeless in Rio, will be quite a task and full of surprises. God willing, we will make it and it will be an experience they will never forget,” he added.
Still in the publication, Madonna made a point of commenting on her children, who participated in the tour alongside her.
Mary, for example, plays the piano in the performance of “Bad Girl”. Davi sings a duet with the diva in “Mother and Father. Meanwhile, twins Stella and Estere dance to “Don’t Tell Me.”
“As The Celebration Tour is a retrospective of my life, I thought it made perfect sense to include all my children who still live with me in the show”, he explains.
“When I go on tour, nothing brings me more happiness than knowing we are all working on the same show creating magic together. It would be boring if they were just traveling from hotel to hotel and occasionally came to watch the show. Of course, I'm also their mother, so sometimes we get on each other's nerves. We are a family of artists but we are also a family and that is what happens”, he says.
