Madonna talks about her children performing on her tour: “Blood, sweat and tears”

The American singer Madonna , 65, said this Thursday (25) that her children have been working hard on the tour to celebrate her 40-year career. She thanked them for their efforts and stated that she will never forget their performance.

“If they choose something different later in life, they will never forget this year of blood, sweat and tears. Me neither. It’s a celebration,” she wrote on social media.

Madonna also stated that she was very proud of them all. “I think what my kids have learned most from this year of rehearsals and performances is that if you want to follow your dreams, you have to work hard for them.”

The singer also recalled that tour rehearsals began two months after she was discharged from hospitalization due to a bacterial infection, which she called a “near-death experience”, and credited her children's excitement for keeping her working.

“The enthusiasm [deles] it kept me moving,” he said. “I need to thank my incredibly talented children, who have led me on this journey, each of them bringing their unique talent to the stage. They never stopped rooting for me and supporting me,”

For the first time in her career, Madonna is touring without being linked to a new studio album. On the “Celebration Tour”, she presents her greatest hits and highlights from her career in the music industry.

Madonna will perform the 80th and penultimate show of the “Celebration Tour”, in Mexico City, this Friday (26).

The last performance of the tour will be held on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro, on May 4th.
