Venezuela President Nicolás Maduro said he asked UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for help to free Venezuelan migrants arrested in a high security arrest in El Salvador.
“Call the president (El Salvador) (Nayib) Bukele, demand that he will list people in that concentration camp, on behalf of the International Human Rights Law,” Maduro said during his TV show “Maduro Suddenly” on Tuesday (1st).
The administration of US President Donald Trump deported 238 Venezuelans for a Salvadorenha prison claiming that they were members of Aragua’s Tren, a transnational criminal group from Venezuela.
The operation, carried out after President Donald Trump invokes the 1798 Aliem Enemies Act to deport alleged members of the gang, was challenged by civil rights groups for a fault in due process.
The detainees of the detainees also denied that relatives were criminal.
